Hello!

For those of you who have no idea who in the world this Rayelan is, maybe I’d better introduce myself.

A number of years ago… I started a newsletter. It was started just for me to have something to do to take up my time so I wouldn’t dwell on my problems. Well the newsletter became extremely popular and still is today. I can’t take credit for the website that the newsletter became… Rumor Mill News… the credit goes to hobie, the RMNews Agents and to all of our readers!! And I am grateful everyday for all of you.

I am just out of the hospital… for it seems like the millionth time! I had a brain aneurysm a few months back. Now, whenever I have a headache… a bad one… I have to go to the hospital and have an MRI done to make sure the aneurysm hasn’t come back. Well, a few days ago… maybe a week by now… I had a headache. It had all the signs of being as bad as the aneurysm headache. My husband took me to the hospital where they immediately took a Catscan. Aneurysms don’t show up on Catscans. So they ordered an MRI.

After spending a day… maybe more… in the hospital where they tried everything to figure out what was causing my headache, they finally gave up. Whatever was causing the headache, it wasn’t an Aneurysm. By that time I was ready to check myself out… I can only take so many needles drawing blood and injecting things. I told my doctor if I wasn’t in danger I wanted to go home… and that’s exactly what I did.

Whatever gave me the headache, I still have it and a number of other things also… like body aches, upset stomach and no energy to do anything. I think I have the flu. Maybe it’s the new round of Covid that is plaguing all of us again. Whatever it is, as long as it’s not an aneurysm, I’m not going to worry about it.

With all the extra bills I’ve had from the various hospital stays, I’m pretty broke right now. I will eventually get the money back from insurance, but at the moment, I need a few things that the hospital recommended for my headache and the rest of my achy body and I have a dollar and 5 cents in my bank account. That’s the way it runs each month.

I thank you for all the times you have come to my rescue. The older I get, it seems the more I need to be rescued.
