I just saw a short video of Biden when he was VP, saying how “it’s a great thing that masses of people are coming into our country illegally. We need it to continue. Soon, European whites, like myself, will be in the minority. And that's a good thing.” First of all, who put him in charge of the population and what the mix should be? He can barely find his shoes, much less tie them. And, I would remind this fake presidential place-holder that European whites are who built this great nation, wrote our Constitution and invented so many wonderful, time-saving products and built the factories to make them available to the masses.

As far as I can see, skin color had nothing to do with it or George Washington Carver was guilty of black-facing himself. What made the difference for the most part was education. Of course, that isn’t all of the answer either as many of our entrepreneurs were lucky to have an eighth grade education.

Another difference, is attitude. The vast majority of the inventors of the last two hundred, plus years, might have been white, but they also didn’t come here looking for a free ride. They didn’t sit around playing games, while the government took care of their every need. How many handouts and special laws do people need to get on their feet and stay there? Do we have a nation of Weebles now? These people are about to fall down spectacularly when the government shuts down the free money because it's broke.

Even Newsome, if the headline is to be believed, has reversed himself on ‘reparations’. Finally waking up to what a nightmare that would be to organize this cluster-f**k. How much African blood is enough and how do you prove it? Would that be the reversal of the book, “One Drop Too Much”?

Affirmative action, we were told, would level the playing field. Did it? Not when companies were forced to hire less qualified people because they were the right color. Not when, at the same time, more and more programs were created to take the place of education and hard work. Not when, at the same time, black women, especially in larger cities, were told their Welfare checks would increase dramatically if the children’s father lived somewhere else and, best of all, were unemployed. Both races don’t understand, these things were done to drive a wedge between the races, while at the same time, lowering the standards for excellence in the schools.

So, a black kid could have the minimum of his needs taken care of by the government, attend a poorly maintained school and worst of all have no male in the house to help with expenses, discipline, and role modeling. That is a recipe for disaster. Let’s see, the average black kid living in a project, (Is that a fancy word for a ghetto?) can either take a very low paying job because he maybe didn’t finish his education, didn’t learn that his care was his own responsibility; more than likely, has a juvenile record. OR he can sell drugs and make a a lot of money as long as he can avoid law enforcement. I can see how tantalizing that choice would be when the guy trying to recruit him is wearing enough bling, he has to buy heavy duty tires to keep his car up off the concrete.

Hispanics don’t have it any easier in large urban areas either. The only saving grace for both blacks and Hispanics has been, in many cases, a very strong mother, often, doing the best she can to steer her kids straight, like Dr. Ben Carson’s mother. Carson could so easily have followed the usual pattern. But, his mother wasn’t having it and she didn’t give up on him. Sometimes there is enough support from other family members. Sometimes there is just enough grit or common sense in a kid to avoid the usual pitfalls and make better choices.

But none of this is going to matter if we allow these socialists/communists to open the floodgates and take in more illegals. Even Biden is considering following Trump’s previous way of dealing with illegals. And, I loved Trump’s way of turning off the incoming population faucet. His phone calls to these South and Central American countries, telling the head of state, basically, “If you want to clean out your prisons, jails and asylums and send these people to America, that’s fine. How much aide are we sending you every year? Well, that will be cut off from now on.” Darn if that didn’t put a stop to such behavior.

I totally agree. Let people come here legally, study and pass the naturalization requirements to become a citizen. My ancestors came here looking for freedom and a way to have a better life. They learned the language, saluted the flag, got a job and paid their fair share of taxes. They raised their children to get an even better education than they had and to be good role models for their own children. Where did it all break down?

I hate to say it, but it’s true. Making it too easy for the following generation might have been the wrong way to go. How many times have we seen a legal immigrant come here, become a citizen; get a back-breaking job, climb the ladder of success, and maybe make a gazillion dollars. Loving his children, he works hard to give them every advantage he had to work hard to obtain. Possibly, even paying their way out of jail when they should have had to find their own way out of any problems they created for themselves. Often, the third generation is even worse. I have seen it too many times.

So, one way out of this mess we’ve allowed to develop would be to raise our kids the way we were raised, if it was with tough love. I think that is a great place to start. And yes, that is how mine were raised, in spite of their howls of protest. As I tell my kids when they call to complain about their own kid's behavior. "Parenting is not a popularity contest. Stop trying to be their friend. Make them earn their privileges." I just love my grandchildren. The Mother's Curse, works!
