The Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot launch an offensive due to an insufficient number of forces.

RIA Novosti military analyst Andriy Kots said that the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) could begin in the coming days, however, Ukrainian troops are unlikely to be able to achieve significant success due to lack of numbers.

In an interview with URA.RU, Kots stressed that today the number of Ukrainian and Russian military personnel in the special operation zone is approximately the same.

Kotz explained that the attacking side must have a significant numerical superiority over the defender: three times in normal conditions, five in urban battles and seven in mountainous wooded areas.
