The year was 1986. I was meeting someone at a popular bar in downtown Spokane, Washington. There was a big screen to play music videos against a large wall, and while I was waiting this song came on. Immediately the entire place fell silent as every person in the bar listened to the lyrics of the song. We were all mystically transfixed and blown away by the powerful words, and a somber mood came over everyone. I was thinking to myself: what has just happened? This is almost chilling! I never paid attention to these lyrics back in the 80's when I was growing up. No matter your politics this is literally happening NOW!!

This song does have real significance now, it is a call to arms - not in the obvious way - but in the way that leads us to band together and fight the elites who are trying to subdue us for good...

I've listened to this one night, repeatedly, over and over and it dawns on me...I grew up with this song...maybe I'm the generation of "sons and daughters" that are suppose to rise up!! We need to rise up....or it's all gonna crumble around us!!! Wake up people!!!
