If you back up, away from the noise, there is a script running and you can see it. This script is almost all encompassing including a very large portion of what is called alt media.

In short, it is a religion and about 95% of legitimate Americans are subject to adherence whether they know it or not. The sheer number of reactive maskers proved that. A meme called covid19 was pronounced into existence. It spread by spoken and written words. It caused adherents to mask up even though there were certifiable studies from decades earlier that prove that masks = offer - no - protection - at - all. Almost universal American religious behavior. More to the point, describing the act as being considerate of others (a lie) shapes the consequence of the act (of masking) so that it doesn't feel like willful stupidity or shameful servility that might bring punishment. It becomes an act (lie) of benevolence.

One of the most dangerous and ongoing memes is that elections can change things for the better. This though no serious deep state convictions and arrests for sedition and treason have been made in how many decades? But next election will fix that. Doing the same thing over and over without effecting change is the responsible, intelligent and patriotic thing to do. All you need is a new way to describe the action, and it's not insanity anymore.

The doctrine of this god script is fear of life. Most people are afraid of life because they do not and cannot control it to any meaningful degree. They are subject to life's whims in the final analysis. Fear of what tomorrow might bring. Fear what horrors the afterlife might bring if you didn't fill out the forms correctly (ignorance of the entire law is no excuse). The god script is masterfully crafted to provide all needed and necessary fears to keep the populace reaching for the carrot without actually thinking about it.

If you would like to test this hypothesis, just get really honest with yourself and examine your overt, and especially, your secret fears. It's all about fear of what life might bring. Fear of life.
