When I was young my dad use to tell me about his time in the Navy. He even described the posters they had up where sailors gathered. He would describe posters like: "Loose Lips Sink Ships", or at the cafeteria they had signs that said: "Don't Let Your Eyes be bigger than your Stomach!". Another poster said "Too much work and not enough play makes Johnny a dull boy!" That last sign was interesting because even back then the officials knew that "rest and recreation (R&R) had value. Life is all about balance, and even for patriotic researchers they also need recreation time away from the stress of seeing our world condition getting worse by the day. It is important we make an effort to live a balanced lifestyle even in the face of chaos and turmoil.
When I was writing my books I was entertaining and educating people as well as creating another world that people could escape to in their mind. I felt that it was important to instil wholesome values, comradery, inspiration, and insight. People have asked me many times "what is your favorite book that you've written?" Without hesitation over and over I've have answered" "Thrones of Draco".
Every time I went back to read it I was filled with a wide variety of emotions and it never failed to inspire me. It covered a wide spectrum of subjects and yet was not a lengthy book at all. The book has adventure, rescue operations of the innocent, confrontation scenes in throne rooms and and an unexpected ending.

Synopsis
(This is the second book of the Defend the Galaxy series)
Michael Faris completes his term as the acting US president for 6 months and returns to his ranch in western Montana. He and his friends set up a Nibiru/Earth education center in Spokane, Washington to educate people about the reality of aliens and other planets. In the process of their daily lives and getting back to a normal lifestyle the US government has a meeting with him in Spokane and demands that he release the space ship given to him by his father from Nibiru. Mike refuses, and after a return trip from Nibiru the US government has taken over his ranch and the education center and started chasing down his friends.
While Mike is visiting on planet Nibiru he studies the new information recovered from the planet Draco rescue mission and discovers there are many more people from earth on the planet that need to be rescued. Mike then commands a group of space ships and travels to the 6 thrones of Draco to gain the release of the prisoners. In the process the throne leaders become more belligerent and Mike and his team end up fighting the reptilians to rescue the prisoners. There are great dramatic scenes in the throne rooms with the reptilian leaders plus some of the conspirators on earth that have shrewdly inserted their way into positions of power. There are emotional and touching scenes of Mike and his team bringing back over 100 rescued prisoners, with most of them women and children, to his ranch where they set up a make-shift hospital. After one of Mike’s voyages from Nibiru back to earth he discovers his ranch has been raided and his friends missing. This book is full of adventure, mystery, comradery, drama, comical situations and a surprise ending. (unquote)
