Dear RM Agents and Readers,

A bit of Intro first:

My daughter lives with me and she has two large dogs; she was out last night and I was responsible for putting her dogs out to go do their business.

She lives in the downstairs part of the home and I live upstairs with my two small dogs, one white/tan, the other black/white and a
black/white kitty. One of her big dogs often pushes the door open and comes to say Hi to us. I'm usually upstairs when this happens.

There is also another door at the landing that goes outside, it is facing the same way as the door coming downstairs, thought this important to understand. This is the door where I put her doggies out to potty and the upstairs door is the one her dog charged through and when coming back my dog(that I didn't even know that it was her at the time was) was directly underneath her dog.

I have a gate up and will be making sure it is locked every time now.

Going down the stairs which are a bit steeper there is a metal bar to hold onto and it goes down two stairs to a small landing and finishes the descent downward in the reverse direction, so you are actually facing the door to the down stairs but a few feet away.

So I let them out and her dog goes charging upstairs opens door, I was down two of the stairs past the landing, when I saw this white thing coming my way. I didn't even think, my arms went out, I didn't even think to put my arms out; honestly I think it was an angel and in my arms was my little dog that would have dropped close to 4 feet onto hard cement. It took me a second to put together what had taken place and the strange part is; it was like she was just laid into my arms, she is small but a tad overweight, has lost a little but since she hurt her leg she couldn't take walks anymore.

I could see how adrenaline could explain her feeling like a feather; but, I would think you would have to realize what was happening first. I didn't realize it was her until she was in my arms; at first I thought it was a pillow. I could have ducked not knowing what it was.

It was just one of those Blessings that keep you knowing God is with you and Angels are looking out!
