In the movie, "Instinct", the guards use a draw game to get the Ace and this gives the inmates an opportunity to go outside for but a half hour (i think, not absolute.

Ethan Howell played by Anthony Hopkins learns of the truth of how unfair this game is and intercedes. He takes down the big guy that always takes the Ace from others and renders the game meritless. That is when the convicts begin to look at the guards in the true fashion as they should.

One other part of this movie is when Ethan Powell holds Theo Caulder against his will and asks him what have I taken from you.
The correct response that comes upon the third try gets Theo to realize that the control is an illusion.

Never had control, you just thought you had it!

It is an excellent movie that teaches us much about what is taking place in our present day world.
