At 2:00 am off the c(o)ast of Santa Monica there was a Magnitude 4.2 earthquake followed by at least 4 aftershocks. Light damage was reported. Do you have a report of damage?

Yes, thank you! I'm in Pasadena and it woke me up. I was sleeping lightly and at first thought that something had hit our building. Then I thought no - I felt the ground actually move, not just shaking of the building, but the ground moved. Nothing broken.

Felt it here in Mid-City, Los Angeles. My cat and I woke up to items rattling on shelves and dresser. It's pretty cold here... I started to get out of bed, but it was just too cold. Not big enough to get out of bed for, but definitely felt it. I'm sure most of Los Angeles felt this! I mapped it on Google Maps "as the crow flies" and it's 10 miles from where I am to the earthquake. I was surprised there wasn't more shaking... felt more like a 3.0 here. I didn't feel the one 3 mins later.

I just saw this on the news couldn’t believe that finally the news stations are reporting these. Thank You Mary guess there were some serious aftershocks 🙏🙏🙏
