I would insist they provide an invoice showing what services they performed and the fee for each item/service - if their fees are standard and not fraudulently inflated then they should be able to itemize and show what they charge for each part of the job. If you insist on that saying you suspect they made an error on the bill they might adjust the bill. You can file complaints with the state as well as BBB if they don't bring it to a more reasonable amount.
