Picture this … you walk into a backyard BBQ and you see sizzling hot dogs, hamburgers, and all the fixings displayed on a red checkered table cloth. You decide to go for one, but don’t dig in without taking this supplement first.

Nitrites and nitrates convert into dangerous nitrosamines in the absence of vitamin C. Back in the late ’80s when my son was small, a big treat was a meatball sandwich at the Subway on the corner.
