BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | November 17, 2021: An Israeli study published in Nature Communications shows that people who are vaccinated with two shots of the Pfizer corona-virus vaccine in January and February had a 51% increased chance of contracting the virus in July compared to those who were vaccinated in March or April. Moreover, the study also shows that people's ages had no effect on the vaccine's waning, meaning that the vaccine waned equally for everyone and not just in older people, said Dr. Barak Mizrahi.

People vaccinated earlier showed a significantly higher risk for infection/breakthrough infection, with a possibility for hospitalization. The findings in the study are also consistent with other studies showing a decline in antibody levels and immune system compounds after four to six months.

And will the third dose, the booster, last longer? According to Mizrahi, it is difficult to tell at this stage. But that very preliminary data collected in various studies is showing that antibodies are also waning after the third shot, too.
