(WND News Center) – Chase Bank has apologized for the cancellation letter posted by retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, claiming “we made an error.”

Flynn, who briefly served as national security adviser under former President Donald Trump, posted on his Telegram social media page Sunday an image of a letter from the bank stating in part “we decided to close your credit cards on September 18, 2021 because continuing the relationship creates possible reputational risk to our company.”

Dear RM Agents and Readers,

During Ron Paul's second run for President in the year 2008 was the first time I donated money to a presidential campaign ever. I did this with my credit card which was from Chase.

Chase in turn made calls to people to see if they really donated to Ron Paul's campaign and I was one that received one of those calls. The question was why would I do such a thing? The guy was completely floored that I would support Ron Paul versus what I was seeing in the democrat party. Just saying, they have been playing politics for sometime.
