It's a little more complicated than that.

I will be the first to admit that Trump laid out the plan for withdrawal of our troops from Afghanistan and ordered it, but as a former military intelligence analyst who actually served during wartime, I like to look at the whole picture.

First, let's not forget Alex Jones interview of Aaron Russo about 15-18 years ago.(Say what you want about Alex, but Aaron's words stand on their own and every American citizen should hear them and judge for themselves.)

At the time, Aaron was fighting terminal kidney cancer, which his wife felt had been foisted upon him through nefarious means. In the course of Aaron's testimony, he told of a conversation with Nicky Rockefeller about a year prior to the 9/11 attacks. In it, Aaron alleged that Rockefeller had spent a couple years wining and dining him until a friendship had formed,, then tried to recruit him to their cause, explaining that a "Pearl Harbor -like event" was to occur in about a year and how great it would be, since people would be turning on their televisions every day to see our soldiers rushing from cave to cave, in Afghanistan, searching for an enemy they could not find. It would be the perfect war, because it could go on forever since there was no visible enemy. (In other words, the enemy they would be fighting weren't the actual bad guys that perpetrated the New York attacks in the first place.

That Trump ordered the troops home is great.It is not our country. We do not belong there and never did, because it only serves as a flashpoint, which serves the dual purposes of killing fields for our own armies, and a training ground for future mujahedin. Were he still in full power, I would have liked to have seen how Trump would've drawn them down. Certainly, he would not have taken a week vacation in the middle of a crisis. But with Kabul falling overnight, and left to wonder how much military hardware Biden has left on the ground, just as Obama did in Iraq. The more intriguing question is what new version of I SIS will arise from it this time. On the other hand, there will always be those who lament the abandonment of lands, where our men have fought and died, for then one must admit it was a lost cause from the beginning and these boys lives were spent for a lost cause.

It should not be surprising to find a very strong mental prejudice against such ideas. But we must be willing to admit we were duped to go in there in the first place, and carrying it on for another 20 or 30 years, further enriching the Rockefellers and their friends (see War Is a Racket, by Smedley Butler) will NEVER be a profitable venture for us, our families, or our allies.
