The situation in Afghanistan has been a complex one and an ongoing debacle from the beginning. When Trump was in office he basically continued the polices of the former presidents but set up a time line for disengagement. He kicked the can down the road so whatever would happened could be blamed on the next administration. Very crafty.

As far as him saying he got rid of ISIS, that is a total lie. ISIS was created by the CIA, Israel and several middle eastern states. It was created as a ruthless, killer army to weaken the nations around Israel so Israel would end up being the last man standing. It worked very well until Russia came in and helped Syria.

At the same time the US saw their plans were in jeopardy so they started escorting the remainder of the ISIS fighters and their families in Northern Iraq and Afghanistan, to be used to keep more conflicts going.

This was done to keep the military industrial complex making profits in the middle east and also to keep the
pressure up against Syria and Iran for the long game.

Trump was having our troops occupy one third of Syria and funnel off funds from the stolen oil wells in Syria. This was unconstitutional and blatant piracy, and continues to this day. Trump also knew that Israel was helping ISIS and bringing their wounded into Israeli hospitals. The only thing Trump didn't agree to, was starting a direct war against Iran. For this reason he was vilified in the press, by Israel and by Congress. This is why he was impeached and this is also why the powers that be fought against him in the election and made sure he didn't win re-election.

When he ran for office he received huge support from billionaires from Israel, which meant he as beholding to them for something. That "something" was the war against Iran, which he failed to deliver for them.

Something happens to some politicians when they obtain power. They will at times feel themselves invulnerable to other forces behind the scenes, even the ones that put them in that position. This is what happened to Kennedy, and Trump followed in his footsteps and was lucky to make it out alive.Trump was walking a tight rope walk and trying to cling to power and then used and exploited his popularity with the conservatives to get re-elected. He told people to go to the capitol, and then he didn't show up. So he set up the naive followers, thinking he would be there for him. 500 ended up getting arrested and are still in prison to this day.

Do we know if he is using his billions to help those people sitting in jail cells? What about the lady that lost her life? Did he even attend her funeral?

Never trust a politician. They will lie to gain power and then once they have it they will do whatever they can to stay in power.
