I have not smudged in a while, but should do it soon. There is a white sage bundle in my candle drawer, just waiting to be lit and carried from room to room. The Native Americans, Druids and even Priests have done it for ages.

I know what you mean about negative energies being invited into your home. Even putting out a 'Welcome' sign (or mat) is asking for trouble.

PS: A few years back: My neighbors, up and down this road, thought I was saying strange things when I told them I could feel a negative entity roaming up and down our rural road. Within a short time frame, two teen aged boys were killed. Both of them lived across the road from the other. One in a car accident, the other hung himself.
