Consider this possibility: The song is "tongue-in-check" and intended for a gay and gay-friendly audience that would quickly realize that's what it is. It's not an anthem or manifesto, speaking out to the larger world.

I think the concerns some folks are having about it are really about 'strawman' elements - for example, I don't see anyone seeking a "right to convert". I'd question whether it's even possible to convert someone else, about anything, much less regarding something this personally interwoven in the fabric of one's identity.

(Old joke: "My mother made me a homosexual!" "Really? If I give her the parts, will she make me one?" :)

Regarding "equal rights", I observe the issue exists in the way that it does only because government (Deep State) has managed to turn marriage into a license-required activity, with government-provided rights (privileges) attached.

That assumes that the choir is not saying what they mean. It also implies that heterosexual parents are indoctrinating their kids to be frightened haters who are intolerant and don't understand "free thinkers". Why do you say that? Isn't that a value judgement which assumes that sodomy should be celebrated because it represents free thinking?

NOTHING in the song evidences those assumptions so why impute them?

And WHY should heterosexual parents accept either the plain meaning of the song OR your interpretation of it?

WHY should parents take kindly to sodomites publicly threatening to change the form, character or religious or other beliefs of their children? How is that tolerant free thinking? Homosexuals choose a lifestyle that prevents them having their own children and are publicly stating that they want to "convert" the children of heterosexual parents to their homosexual agenda.

Arguably there is nothing enlightened, progressive or morally and socially healthy about the homosexual life style. Why should biological parents give homosexual couples the right to "convert" their children?

Indeed, why should society give homosexuals the same legal marriage and parenting rights given to parents of children who will go on to maintain society?

If people wish to live together in ways that prevent them procreating and raising children that is their prerogative BUT it is inappropriate and indeed SOCIALLY SUICIDAL for the rest of society to legally approve and assist physically, psychologically, spiritually and socially harmful practices such as sodomy and homosexual parenting. It is absurd to suggest that "society" can bestow on homosexual couples the marriage and parenting rights that naturally exist in relation to heterosexual couples.

Sodomy cannot produce offspring nor can lesbian activities. Demanding that society bless homosexual couples with the RIGHT to "convert" the children of others, or to acquire children by using the services of people not part of their relationship is a gross imposition on the third parties used and on society at large as well as on the children subjected to the resulting loss of one biological parent and homosexual indoctrination and/or parenting.

Arguably homosexuals are demanding that society MUST grant them GREATER RIGHTS than it gives to heterosexual couples in that homosexuals REQUIRE that society must allow them to "convert" the children of others and to assist them to live as if they are heterosexual partners and parents while they choose not to be.

The advocates of homosexuality are creating a DEATH WISH in Western societies, notably in the nations of Europe and Anglo countries including the US, Canada and Australia. Actively advocating homosexual outcomes has resulted in these nations failing to reproduce themselves and requiring immigration and refugee flows to enable them to continue to exist.

Advocating and assisting LGBT processes demoralises gentile societies and is designed to result in their failure to reproduce themselves, a trend that is obvious in Europe today.
