And then, three days later, the Post published an article saying Trump "sent out an email that repeated verbatim the arguments made by the New York Post editorial board...", namely the three paragraphs above.

The email itself was not shown, and https://www.45office.com/news, Trump's official site, makes no mention of it in that time frame.

The RSBN twitter site posted an image purporting to be from the email, without any further details:

This was spread around on social media, and was then picked up by other sites, even by NaturalNews.com:

However, no one appears to have verified the alleged email with the Trump team. I'm guessing there actually was an email from somewhere, since the NY Post cites it, but that was April 16, three days later than the editorial, the same day of the RSBN tweet. The article that NaturalNews cites as a source from BigLeaguePolitics, was three days after that:

What do I, MrFusion, think is going on? I think some disinfo specialist sent out an email to various sites, purporting to be from Trump, and quoting verbatim the NY Post editorial.

Unless someone produces an actual copy of said email, including the email address of the sender, and verifies it with Team Trump, I'm going stick my analysis above, that it's a fraud, and a lot of reputable people got punked.
