This is what I wrote to a friend after he warned me not to underestimate the covid 19 flu:

How many do you know that died of the regular flu? Funny how that flu strain mystically disappeared.
The truth is, those that they say died of the so called covid19 flu, is not being verified. Everyone assumes they died of covid 19.
Anyone can die from either one, and there is more on the way. 10% of new cases they say is a new more deadly mutation of the covid flu.
Of all the people I know, you are the most level headed and skeptical of what you hear. I am actually quite surprised you place so much trust in what the government says about covid 19. It isn't like you.
I am not afraid of covid19, but I take no chances. I refuse to live in fear. I would feel no different if I got the flu and was suffering and preparing to die. It has no meaning to me at all. And to hear someone talk about "don't take any chances or underestimate it', is like being told to fear invading aliens and bigfoot together, both ready to pounce on me the second I leave the house.

But, thanks for the concern. I won't do anything stupid and tempt fate in any way. I will continue to take precautions, avoid crowds, limit my visits to town, and stay as healthy as possible. And, believe it or not in some cases I do wear a mask when it is required. I am not too proud to be careful, and I see no benefit in risking an infection.

You are being hit harder than anywhere or anyone I know (Oklahoma). I know no one that died from this. My family and friends don't know anyone that died for this. That includes several states across the nation.
No one is confirming the people you heard about, ACTUALLY died from covid19. Everyone is accepting these things on face value, and no one checks it out.
The government and the drug companies and the liberals - all have a motive to maintain this pandemic to gain more power, profits and control over the nation. This is a perpetuating scam with ulterior motives. It has been going on for a year now. This is outrageous.
If you look at the deaths for each year the past several years there are NO extra deaths in the world, I've seen the numbers on this. We are being scammed. and there are NO deaths reported from the regular flu anymore, which is IMPOSSIBLE. They have merged the two together until no one knows what a person is dying from anymore.
I haven't sent you everything I read on this, it is simply too much to absorb. But this is a scam, it is not what they are telling us. The bottom line is, it is a mild flu virus and we need not take any special precautions than we would normally. The great majority of those that died from this already had health issues and morbidities that they actually die from. Hundreds of doctors and nurses have revealed these facts. George Eaton
