As a 30 year career airline pilot,author of numerous books on Flying (Jeff W. Griffin) I'd like to add some real knowledge to this constant conversation about chemtrails.

In all my years trailing cross the planet behind other aircraft going in the same direction as we were, I never saw anything but a few military and many other airlines on the airways operating normally. What I can tell you was that in every case (remember for 30 years) I never trailed another jet airplane that was dumping anything out of a separate spray nozzle that might indicate they were laying a chemtrail down behind them.

If chemtrails were/are laid down in the upper flight regions then flight crews and passengers or pax would be exposed to such content. That said, only rarely did we ever pass behind or through contrails of an aircraft that is ahead of us. Generally, the distance is too great(between trailing aircraft) and the contrails are more often than not dissipated before we reached the area in which they were generated by the plane(s) ahead.

If the contrails actually held anything of substance other than burned kerosene(Jet fuel)it would separate into a lower and separate trail as it settled. I never saw that.

Now, one should be honest with oneself about such a motivation a country would have to spray their own people. Such a spraying program would be in the millions of dollars. If the "powers that be" wanted to limit population, a program promoting birth control would be much more cost effective and humane than chemtrails. Remember, the powers that be have to breathe the same air we all do. That affects them and their potential offspring. The point I'm making, is there are more effective ways to accomplish the limiting of births or induce illnesses. The use of chemtrails just to maim the population could only end in an expensive litigation and bad press for politicians in general.

I cannot say, that this wouldn't or couldn't occur in our crazy world, but I CAN say, it is not cost efficient nor target efficient. Better ways to hit the target than just a blanket spray from high altitudes.

Finally, I urge you to obtain/use high power field glasses or a telescope and get the "N" number on the back end/sides of the aircraft you suspect. That number you can research and will tell you if it is military or corporate or airline. Corporate aircraft are too small generally to haul a load of anything other than a few high-rolling execs and their bags. Major airlines don't haul anything but people and bags and a few light weight freight items. (Lightweight meaning doesn't put the aircraft over its gross weight limit where they have to choose between passengers and the cargo (chemtrail) item.

Thus, ends my argument, with one more statement. Do you really believe military pilots would spray all of us including their wives/husbands and children with a known toxin? Get real, insubordination would reign supreme if that was known to any flight crews. I have never heard of such an event. So my CYA statement is this: " I have never seen anything in my now ended 30 year career that would indicate chemtrails are/were real." The cost and uproar it would cause within pilot ranks alone, would make it nearly impossible to cover up or carry out.
