From the 1995 "HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I" album, here's Michael Jackson (1958-2009) in Brazil with "They Don't Care About Us".

This was a chart-topper in multiple countries though not so much in the US, where media focus was on the lyrics as being "possibly antisemitic". Jackson released a second version of the song with slightly altered lyrics. The original lyrics are below the clip, courtesy of lyrics.com .
