The final vote tally from the college of electors was Trump 232 and Biden 306. That would normally place Biden as the winner. However, several states had their backup electors vote for Trump, which Constitutionally places several states as "contested".
On Jan. 6th, when the votes are presented and counted in Congress, there will be procedures where some Congressmen will contest the electors vote count. At that point it goes to the House to choose the president and the senate to choose the vice president. At that point the House would then vote with each state having one vote. So far the estimated vote count would be 26 for Trump and 24 for Biden.

Here is an explanation:
"When the results from each state are announced, a member of the House and Senate can jointly object, in writing, to the election results from that state. The House and Senate then adjourn for up to one hour to consider the objection; if both bodies agree to uphold the objection, the votes are excluded from the election results under the terms of the Electoral Count Act of 1887.

There are several scenarios that could allow for this final vote count to be delayed in Congress. One scenario would be if House and Senate agree to exclude a state’s electoral votes, which would then result in a candidate not having the majority of electoral votes. Another would be a faithless elector causing a tie in the electoral college voting.

The 12th Amendment then calls for run-off or contingent elections in the House (to select a president) and the Senate (to select a vice president)"

Trump now has a choice, let this play out to Jan. 6th, or take other options like invoking the Insurrection act among other measures to stop the fraudulent vote. Now the ball is in Trump's court and we'll wait to see what he decides to do next. This is still an undecided election. George Eaton
