This is typical 'common Law" nonsense. It never works against the current judicial system which is the UCC Code of law. Anyone that tries to invoke the common law is spewing a falsehood and is misleading people into a possible disaster for their lives. I have seen lives ruined, homes and land taken from the government, and people put into jail over following the common law arguments.

The common law argument is convoluted, complex and sounds legalistic, but it has no standing in the courts. Any so called successful cases that people brag about are either by luck, or the courts and law enforcement simply get tired of dealing with the idiots that invoke it and just send them home. I have heard groups of those types sharing stories on how many days they spent in jail for refusing to show their drivers license or obey a law enforcement's requests.

It ends up being like a bidding war of how many days they spent in jail or in court fighting the system with the common law arguments. Then they argue about using zip codes, or what the gold fringe on the flag really means, or how to be addressed with 'mr.' or not, or how to address an envelop to the right jurisdiction to be perfectly legal under the common law.

It's all nonsense and just as foolish as those that believe the earth is flat. The entire argument is dangerously flawed and takes good people down the road to ruin, literally.
