People of different faiths speaking out about wrongs in their faiths must be allowed, whistle-blowers from anywhere USA must be protected and allowed. Priests are people that are supposed to have a higher calling

Of course, anyone speaking out; such as the 'me too movement' about rapes from years in the past look more like something else entirely.

Yet, those who undoubtedly are standing up to expose something often at great risk to self should be protected not attacked.

The church attacking a priest for doing the right thing in this circumstance doesn't speak well for those involved in attacking and punishing this priest, now does it!?

The whole of the Catholic church is not corrupt but much needs to be changed in order to weed out the negative types. One priest stated that the priests should be allowed marriage, makes sense to me. Money was the issue, the church supporting a family. What of the church paying victims for abuse? That cost has been astronomical in financial and more importantly the destruction of lives!

The Mormon church has also had many sexual issues and wrong doings. Let's face it, that is where these types of individuals are attracted to for easy pickings, churches, scouts, schools, ball teams. So it becomes a parents job to make sure that their children are aware of dark behavior and if anyone does this. let parents know.

It does become a balance as many good folks will start to steer clear of scouts, dealing with children in fear of wrongful accusations.

We are in a world of many types of land mines and the voting for President Trump and his political rallies stated much that good people want something done about it and are willing to stand up,
the time is at hand!
