This evening I listened to the public call-in (877-828-2753) for New California State. One of the leaders within the movement drove early in the morning to be in front of the courthouse in Yuba City before the trial was to take place. She had to go through a lottery process to be admitted inside (she was one of the lucky 13 or so).

She came away feeling that the only ones in the courtroom who truly understood the U.S. Constitution were herself and Assembly members Gallagher and Kiley. She didn't come away feeling confident about the judge's knowledge about the legality of Newsom's dictates (which directly affects the voting process for the upcoming election) and believes that if the ruling goes against him, he will appeal.
