I left a bright blue sunny sky about 1:30 and drove east about 25 miles to the local grocery it's a combo grocery ace hardware store, it's not very big but usually pretty well stocked. I HAD to have a new can opener! And a couple other things like Bagels & cream cheese,I love it with my HotCoffee for breakfast.

As I drove east I saw the dirty devils spraying and as I came back about 45 minutes later on the way home the sky was overcast, looked like fog but not as low to the ground.

Except for the store parking lot I only saw about 5 cars the whole trip. Most folks live out in the hills here.

There were about 20 to 30 people shopping all at once and about 1/2 had masks. The odd part is the younger the person the more likely they had on a mask usually a bandana. The older folks were bare faced and oblivious to the distancing. Everyone seemed pretty much of the whatever attitude. 6ft distancing was marked off at the registers but nowhere else.

The blogs are adamantly 50/50 Dem. Repb.and the Dems are crazed while the Repubs are calm and having fun razing the Dems.

TP was single rolls only at 1.99 a roll thankfully I didn't need any. Many shelves were sparse, pasta, ramen,some dairy, but they usually get their dairy on Wednesday.

I'm deep in a valley and it stays cold in the morning, fig trees, apple & pear are just now sprouting the buds and flowering I don't see any bees yet though. Started some potatoes and beets, should have peas in but I don't.
Turkeys & birds trashed my strawberries but it was time for new stock anyway and a neighbor gave me some shoots that are in & happy.

Filed business taxes but not personal so I'm still waiting on that stimulus check and hoping to get some starts at the nursery and save my newly bought seed stock for next year just in case it's hard to get.Also save some from the plants I grow this year. I will start some of the seed next week.I know I'm a a little late but it's worked out before.

Bought a pound of seeds for sprouts also.
