When a child is abused, that child is not just dealing with trauma. That child also is not capable of using force to oppose the abuse. That child is powerless.

The powerlessness and the trauma can fuse and become fixed in the perception of the child. When the child grows up and becomes an adult, it can still have that feeling of powerlessness and trauma, if it hasn't learned to work through the experience.

Those that suffer from the feeling of powerlessness, as an adult, will seek positions of power, in order avoid a similar condition, and/or to seek vengeance. It is often the case, that vengeance will not be contained and applied specifically against the ones that performed the abusive actions. It will instead be applied against the entire society. No one stopped the abusers, so everyone is responsible, in the eyes of the abused.

Also, the moral (practical) aspect of the bible, that says homosexuals are committing an abomination, directly refers to the fact that offspring are not created by this act. It also indicates the creation of feelings of powerlessness, trauma, and the reverberations that affect society, from this action, have consequences. Which is why it is frowned upon.

An abused child should not be put to death for being abused. However, if, as an abused child, you grow up and pass on the abuse to other children, you earn what is coming to you. An abused child should be dealt with, by therapy.

If someone was not abused as a child, yet chooses to mate with the same sex, that is an indicator of other problems that were severe enough to override the natural mating instincts. For example, it is typical of females that have been abused by males, to become a lesbian, in order to fulfill the companionship needs, and avoid male contact. Fear, in combination with ignorance, makes the assumption, that all males behave in the same way.

Deprivation of male contact, can also provoke some women to engage in female-female relations, using mental gymnastics, to tell themselves, that they are not cheating on the man who is not around.

The point is, these situations and conditions, do not make for good leadership skills.
