CLIFF NOTES of sorts from the video, "Do They Really Believe That?"

Living in the fantasy delusional worlds created by unprovable, illogical, unreasonable, nonsensical and imaginary stories about the origin and destiny of lives and life, AND BELIEVING THEM AND HAVING FAITH IN THEM (or, AS MOST HUMANS DO, trusting the writers or tellers or delivers of such stories) is indeed the HUMAN THING TO DO, because, most humans tend to be GULLIBLE, IRRATIONAL, UNREASONABLE, NOT THINK CRITICALLY (CRITICAL THINKING IS A FULL TIME JOB. IT’S NOT EASY. IT’S A LOT OF WORK. MUCH EASIER TO rest one’s posterior on belief and faith). MOST HUMANS DO NOT USE LOGIC, BELIEVE ALMOST ANYTHING, NOT PERFECTLY RATIONAL, HAVE BAD THOUGHT PROCESSES.

HUMANS DON’T KNOW MUCH ABOUT WHAT THEY BELIEVE,
DON’T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THEIR RELIGIONS,
DON’T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THEIR “HOLY” BOOKS,
DON’T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE ORIGINS OF THEIR RELIGION,
AND MOST HAVE NOT READ ALL OF THE BOOKS THEY BELIEVE ARE TRUE but keep on believing never-the-less.

And of course, the old saying, “SO MANY PEOPLE CAN’T POSSIBLY BE WRONG FOR SO LONG, AND THAT’S GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME.”

"OOPS! BIG MISTAKE!"

I CARE ABOUT WHAT KIND OF WORLD WE LIVE IN. I CARE ABOUT THE QUALITY OF LIFE. PEOPLE’S BELIEFS COMPEL ACTIONS AND HAVE CONSEQUENCES FOR THEM AND HUMANITY.

IS THERE A WAY TO CONVERT HARDCORE CHRISTIANS, to get people out of their religious beliefs?

Disseminating information that debunks irrational thinking works a little.

Waiting for them to die-off and hoping their kids don’t get brainwashed-abused.

And of course, there’s no help at all for the people who are full-on mentally unbalanced and insane, who are immune to logic, reason and rational thinking.

Unknown to most is that
RELIGIONS ARE BUILT (HAVE BUILT INTO THEM, into their doctrines) TO BE SELF-PERPETUATING "If you don't believe, the devils gotcha..., etc., etc.).

Critical thinking skills need to be taught in school. That would help.
