One of my son-in-laws inherited and runs his relatively small family owned trucking company in Savannah, GA. He has been prudent over the past two years, not buying new trucks and has thus refrained from increasing debt by hiring in house maintenance workers to repair instead of taking the easy way of buying (and financing) new vehicles. He has told me of the impending financial doom of his industry for more than a year. Small guys are going under, and only the 'big names' survive.

This of course means that competition is so diminished that the big guys can charge whatever they want. The consumer (read: us) will pay the ever increasing bill.

This ANP article is spot on.

When you consider it closely, NO ONE "DESERVES" A damned thing except what they earn and physically own.

The gen X through millennial party goers will indeed find this hard to stomach, and of course they will throw up on the rest of humanity once the booze runs out and they have awakened from stupor.

: absolutely ferocious flooding hitting America’s
: breadbasket, completely preventing many farmers from even
: planting their crops this year.
