Most humans care only slightly about their religion. They leave the knowing of it to their leaders, preachers, evangelists, popes, bishops and teachers. They tend to trust their leaders that they are being led correctly.

Most religious people are part-time conveniently religious. In other words, they wear the label, but everyday life is where their minds are. Their busy living life under the title, but are mostly ignorant of what’s in the book. Believing and having faith is their mantra, because knowing takes too much time, too much work. And therefore, very, very few ever or seldom really care whether what they believe or have faith in is true or not. Their belief and faith is enough. It works for them. And any errors you point out, makes you the enemy.

If you are part of a religion, you know without a doubt that you are mostly ignorant of your religion. You’re a surfer, skimming the top waves of belief and faith and that satisfies you.

The same goes for neighborhood, community, culture, society, government, politics and economics. Though they are living in them and are part of them, they ignore them pretty much unless there is a pot hole in the street in front of their driveways, or a limit to the number of dogs they are allowed to have, or fees for doing things jump to high. They just don’t really care unless it personally impacts them, and then they do little more that bitch about it and move on with their lives as if nothing has changed, and one day they wake up enslaved and blame it on the leaders they didn’t vote for.

Bitching about the above, writing about the above and doing nothing but absorbing information about the above is entertainment for most folks. Why? Because today we have come so far down the hell path that doing anything fruitful gets you stomped. They took the power while you were playing life.
