I think it was something far more sinister and dangerous. I think the democrats (Deep State) wanted to sabotage the real possibility of Trump pulling off a Nobel Peace Prize type deal with the leader of North Korea by the two of them signing an agreement that North Korea would give up it's nuke program and when verified by the US Trump would lift the sanctions on North Korea. This would open the door for economic investment in North Korea and a great reduction US Troops in South Korea. All in all, it would be a huge win for their (Deep State/democrats)much hated enemy, President Trump. So, at the very time that Trump needed to negotiate from a position of power, you have this trashing of Trump by the Democrats and Trump's former attorney that no doubt made the North Korean leader wonder if Trump would even be President for much longer? And, if not, would any deal he made still be honored by the US? To me, this is another example of treason by those behind this. Statements made by Jim Jordan at the hearing pointed the finger right back at HRC!
