I remember reading that a federal judge had found an error in a bill that Obama put forth, claiming that, Obama was getting ready to steal the Americans' IRA accounts.
This was the "real" reason that the judge went to speak to Abby Gifford, She was a senator at the time. The judge wanted to warn her about what he found.
The assassins were there and waited and Gabby Gifford was in the line of fire and that's how she got shot and wounded. The judge, and 3 others died in the gun fire.
Sorry I don't have the article, maybe another agent or reader can report a little further on this.

: NOT GOOD: House Dems Voting In The Dead Of Night To Take Away
: Top Constitutional Right
: House Democrats are leading an effort to vote in the dead of
: the night to take away the Second Amendment rights of
: millions of Americans.
: According to Breitbart, Democrats are planning to advance
: legislation that would criminalize private gun sales
: between owners.
: The disturbing and vastly overreaching legislation is expected
: to be put to a floor vote in the House this week — and
: there’s hardly any media attention on this issue.
: Most Americans have no idea about this measure and what the
: Democratic-controlled U.S. House of Representatives is
: about to vote on.
: Democrats introduced H.R. 8, which is in honor of the January
: 2011 attack on Gabby Giffords, where she was shot during a
: campaign event.
: Here’s more from the Breitbart report: H.R. 8 would outlaw the
: private gun sales Americans have enjoyed since December 15,
: 1791, the date on which the Second Amendment was ratified.
: This would criminalize a neighbor who sold a gun to
: lifelong neighbor without first getting government
: permission via a background check. It would also
: criminalize a friend for selling a gun to lifelong friend
: without government permission.
: Ironically, the bill would have done nothing to stop the
: attack on Gabby Giffords because her attacker did not buy
: his gun privately. Rather, he passed a background check to
: acquire the gun retail.
: Moreover, H.R. 8 would have done nothing to stop nearly every
: mass shooter to date in the 21st century. This is because
: nearly every mass shooter acquired his guns via background
: checks, rather than private gun sales. The exceptions are
: those who stole their guns.
: Yet Democrats are rushing this legislation to the House floor
: for a vote. Reuters reports that the House Judiciary Panel
: “will mark up the bill…on February 13 and send it to the
: House floor for a vote.”
: One of the main talking points in H.R. 8 is creating a
: “national government registry.”
: For starters, there is no government registry.
: Gun owners do not “register” with the federal government, they
: are required to pass a background check in the state in
: which they are in prior to being able to legally purchase a
: firearm.
: It’s not handled by the federal government because states have
: different laws in place regarding waiting periods, “red
: flag” laws, and other measures citizens must go through
: before being able to legally buy a gun.
: After cutting through many of the liberal talking points, it
: is clear that House Democrats are going to do everything
: imaginable to erode as much of the Second Amendment as
: possible.
: This is why many don’t take these anti-gun movements
: seriously, because many liberals don’t want solutions, they
: want to ban all guns and erode as much of the Second
: Amendment as possible.
: While the bill may pass in the House, it’s highly unlikely
: that it would ever pass in the Republican-controlled
: Senate.
