Dear RM Agents and Readers,

A non lethal weapon so not really a concern as far as other government hands; albeit, if the folks it was aimed at was operating something important it could take on a different application.

My reason for the interest is that it sounds strikingly familiar to the light that wal mart had over the nicotine products when I used them while first in Colorado. Nicorette gum had taken on a new look and they had pasted some sugar product over the nicotine gum making it very problematic to my stomach.

The photo on the front of the new box was also very different. I would go in and examine these boxes under a blue light. The first few times I made the mistake of getting the wrong box (or was it my mistake?). I had been shopping for many items (two weeks worth at several stores and felt this was the cause. I was wrong, big time.

The next time I went into town and purchased only one item the nicorette gum. I examined the box thoroughly before taking it to the check out stand. Looked again at the check out stand, seemed correct. Yet, after examining again once i got into the truck I realized I had purchased the wrong package.

By now I had figured out that the blue light was making me see one thing when it was truly something else. Seems like our brain can be made to hold onto an image for a time longer as well. Interestingly enough, the reason for not wanting the new gum (tasted better) but gave me a severe stomach ache. Gum or light leftovers? Just thought it was worth a repeat; know it is no longer in the archives.

Not really concerned with Russia at the moment.
