I watch with interest (from a safe distance, across the pond!) the events transpiring in the U.S., while waiting for our own brand of amateur theatricals to start up again over here, when Parliament comes back into action on January 7. I'd like to make a few comments on this post.

Firstly, I don't have any information about the current locations of former Presidents Bush and Clinton, but Obama has not "gone missing", as stated in the BIN article. As I mentioned a couple of days ago, he was certainly around on January 1, to wish everyone a happy New Year:

The Hawaiians seem to be quite confident that he's still on his vacation over there, as he is launching his Asia-Pacific Program in Hawaii, and they're fully expecting him to show up tomorrow (Sunday, January 6), to conclude the conference:

Regarding the GITMO barges, it's very easy for anyone to monitor what's happening (or not) in the port at Guantanamo Bay:

The last time I checked - today, January 5, at 11.45a.m. GMT/6.45a.m. EST - there were two vessels in the port, both U.S. tugs. These are the Addy Lou, which has been there since December 17, and the Simone, which arrived yesterday. These are clearly not suitable for transporting large numbers of prisoners. There's

no sign of the monster GITMO barges.

I stopped using Before It's News many years ago, when it became obvious that the information provided at that website is frequently inaccurate.
