A couple of months ago Hobie asked me to post an update on how I was faring in my extreme financial crisis. The answer was and is: Not well. But I did not post anything because I saw that Rayelan and RMN were also badly needing donations and I did not want to divert a single penny from them. I have been able to barely, and I mean barely, stave off the landlord and keep the utilities and internet on.

There is light at the end of the tunnel, as I have part-time job to start on January 13th and I am looking every day for better ones. Alas, not too many opportunities out there for a 67 year old guy with disabililties. But the money I am due to earn will be too late to keep me and my beloved found dogs off the streets and keep things turned on by the time the money starts coming in (and I had to use money I did not have to buy clothes for the new job). I really need something I can do from home - so please tell me if you know of any legitimate opportunities.

Rent was due on the 1st and I still owe part of last month's rent, new utility and internet bills all aroundm my dogs need food and one needs life-saving supplements for his Cushing's Disease), and I have the double whammy of car inspection and registration or else I am a hundreds of dollars ticket waiting to happen. And my bank account is minus $225. So THAT is how I am doing.

In the coming days, weeks and months I plan to have a bigger presence again here at RMN. I have spent far, far too much time on FB and it was a huge gamble that has cost me dearly - though a small number of precious friends thare have pitched in to help me barely suruve until now. FB is not set up to serve your needs. It is a huge distraction designed to addict you to constant use and you are not a customer at FB, you are a product they use and sell!

I HATE begging and if can just make it a bit longer this should be the last time I ask for help. Normally, I am the one donating and giving help - and giving countless hours of my time helping others.

I want to help save and improve your lives. Please help me do the same for mine!
