The New Decentralized Internet
MaidSafe is a fully decentralized platform on which application developers can build decentralized applications. The network is made up by individual users who contribute storage, computing power and bandwidth to form a world-wide autonomous system.
It's kinda like TOR which uses multiple PC(s) to connect everyone. Also, similiar to "blockchains", like utilized for cryptocoins "Bitcoin".
Since no one central computer...almost impossible for any group to interfere or control.
Anyone or group with a little or more excess capacity can help in building this decentralized internet.
