Land theft by any other name, including Marxist wealth redistribution, is still theft. Having the govt do it for you “legally” makes things much safer and easier.

One could easily make the mistake, given the communist rhetoric, the chants and the racism, that this was a meeting of the Congressional Democratic, Black Caucus and that was Sheila Jackson Lee, Maxine Waters, John Lewis or Al Green among the dancers in the chamber.

But it isn’t and these communists aren’t even trying to hide the fact that they are Marxists intent on confiscating the property of white South African farmers (who have been there for multiple generations). There will be no compensation, just the physical removal at gunpoint by the totalitarians in power, government theft and redistribution.

The reason this became possible is due to the fact that communists, like the aforementioned Democrats in this country, rose to power and then, once their numbers were sufficient, were able to vote to change the government to their Marxist model, with a rewriting of the Constitution to follow. The seizures are expected to be conducted by fall of this year.

A radical Marxist opposition leader named Julius Malema ushered in the bill, which passed by a count of 241 to 83 on Tuesday. The new policy was a key component in the platform of new President Cyril Ramaphosa who took over in February. Malema said, “the time for ‘reconciliation is over. Now is the time for justice.” No justice no peace, right Maxine, right John Lewis?

But the confiscation isn’t stealing if you simply claim it is land that is owed to you, then you’re just reclaiming what’s yours, an involuntary reparation, as all reparations are. Right, Sheila Jackson Lee? Surely you must have an MLK quote in that big head of yours that endorses communist theft of property. See if you can shake something out.

Malema closed his excuse making with the statement, “We must ensure that we restore the dignity of our people without compensating the criminals who stole our land.” Just like The Commie Saul Alinsky taught, if you bring dignity into the argument you’ve crowned yourself with integrity, whether it’s deserved or not.

An audit conducted last year showed that white people owned 72 percent of farmland. That’s down from the 85 percent when the evil Mandela took over as president in 1994. The deputy chief executive of the civil rights group Afriforum said the motion was a violation of agreements made at the end of apartheid.

South Africans should be careful, as the record of similar land grabs in neighboring Zimbabwe under former dictator Robert Mugabe is dismal, with many farms left in ruin and the precipitous drop in production resulting in an economic crisis that still lingers. Not everyone is cut out for farming but everybody still needs to eat.
