I completely agree. Like President Trump, I have never had a flu shot and I'm now almost 65. The last time I had what would be considered the real flu (not the upper respiratory infections they try and call the flu), was more than 40 years ago.

I saw the correlation between the flu shot and the flu with my late husband. He, too, would take the shot at work and inevitably come down with the flu within a week or so. I used to laugh at him and ask why he did that. He finally stopped getting them.

While I do not have a link, I read of a study several years ago that hit home. The study showed that anyone who got the annual flu shot five years in a row after the age of 55, DOUBLED the chances of Alzheimer's. My mother, who faithfully got her flu shot every year, now has Alzheimer's.

When the pharmacists push it at the local CVS, I tell them I take 10,000 i.u. daily of D3 as well as other immune boosting supplements and their response is usually, "oh then you're good if you're doing that and don't need one."
