: so I had to abandon it, tear it all down, and there I stood
: after five months looking at the deconstruction and said to
: myself, well that was fun, can’t take THAT away, and I
: learned a lot, like make sure my son measures his property,

: which he did afterwards. So I went home and watched a
: movie. What an awesome summer. And just to clarify, I never
: got irritate, upset or angry at myself, my son or at the
: carrots. It was a awesome experience.

You come into this world and leave this world with nothing but your experiences. And that is why you "can't take THAT away".

Why make sure your son measures his property, if it was an "awesome experience"? Why not repeat the same mistake again? It could be fun, again.

There are many things learned from the interaction with the tools and materials. That part is awesome. When we look back on what might seem unpleasant at the time, we often find we learned a lot from those experiences.

The reason you told your son to measure the property, is because you set out to materialize a desire, and not being on the right property does not help materialize that desire.

Mistakes happen, and one does not need to get upset about mistakes. However, how many times can one repeat that mistake, before there is a change of mind?

Will there come a point, where the desire to materialize it, no longer exists? Thereby no longer having concern for that idea, and no tension develops.

Or will the tension that develops, motivate a new plan for materialization?

Or will the tension build up, causing irritation, upset, and anger?

It is the lack of knowledge, of knowing how to deal with a situation, that prevents one from getting past obstacles in the materialization of desire. If one already had the knowledge, mistakes are easily dealt with.

: Maybe that will give an idea of “not minding what happens” or
: “accepting what does or does not happen.”

Asking your son to measure his property, was an action that was based upon you not accepting the situation, as is. You could not accept the situation as is, because the original desire was not materialized, and would not be materialized without your son measuring the property, in order to move forward.
