However, this is only the first phase of the process. They also say that hot plasma areas will also disappear, and then solar radiation will fall to zero.

- In the end, solar magnetic energy will disappear almost completely. In this form, our star can live for several months to a year, after which new streams of magnetic field begin to spring from the depth of the Sun, the first spots appear, and a new 11-year cycle begins.

The consequences for the Earth could be cold, ice and strong snowfall. The last so-called. A little ice age, in the 17th-18th century, coincided with the solar minimum when there was no spot in the Sun for almost 50 years.
