You know what you are if you’ve touched the edge of silence and stillness. Until then you either don’t know, or believe yourself to be someone or something you're not. Once you know what you are, it changes everything.

It is easier to describe what you are not. You are not consciousness, awareness, intelligence, a body, mind, spirit or soul. You are none of those, not even close, though you are all of those when not being what you truly are, which is: THE SILENCE AND STILLNESS, the silence and stillness from which you emerged to play the game of life. You are the silent and still space within which earth, water, air, sun and all moving have their being. Out of silence and stillness comes life, and to the silence and stillness returns life.

If you understand this you have experienced the silence and stillness. If you do not understand, you yet will.

If you yet think you are not the silence and stillness, your thinking is your proof and your life is your witness, and your beliefs and faith are the instruments of your self-deception, and they serve you well on the journey beyond the silence and stillness, but a time will come when you no longer will seek the ripples and waves and storms that are your make-believe reality, the constructs, paradigms and matrixes. When that time comes, when you have experienced in full measure sound and movement, then it is the silence and stillness draws you home to that everlasting peace from which you emerged.

Everything that moves, ends, and everything that is still, begins, and so it is that everything that is still is the beginning and everything that moves is the ending and in between is life, and together they are the cycle of life.

Until you experience it you cannot imagine the pleasure in the void of being.

If someone asks you, what are you, you can answer, I am silence and stillness who has ventured into the fury of a storm, but silence and stillness is my eternal home. nem
