Harvey Weinstein. Kevin Spacey. Terry Richardson. Brett Ratner. And now, Bryan Singer.

Each media powerhouse, now publicly accused of multiple acts ranging from sexual harassment to rape, has been described as an “open secret.”

Singer, a director and producer most notably of the “X-Men” movies, is the latest to have long, simmering accusations against him brought to light.

In 1997, a 14 year-old extra on the set of Singer’s movie “Apt Pupil” filed a lawsuit against Singer, claiming that he and other minors had been instructed to strip naked for a shower scene. Two other extras, also minors, filed a second suit. The suits were dismissed. In 2014, Singer faced a lawsuit claiming sexual abuse against a minor, Michael Egan, which Egan later withdrew. Another minor, this time anonymous, sued Singer for sexual assault during the same period. 23 year-old actor Noah Galvin mentioned rumors that Singer committed child rape as recently as last year, but immediately withdrew his comments and apologized.

And Wednesday evening, Yahoo News reports, a man on Twitter named Justin Smith issued a 14 tweet-long accusation against Singer, describing his alleged experiences with the director-producer. Here are a few of the salient tweets:

I never went to any of Bryan Singers “private parties”, but I guarantee the stories of the young men who say they were raped are true. I witnessed the beginning of many of these nights. Smith’s Twitter account is now gone. It isn’t clear if Smith deleted his own account or if his account was suspended by the website. We’ll update this story as it develops.
