Mystery - Driver Charged - Allegedly Concealed Young Mother's Corpse - 2 More Serious Charges Filed

This case is beginning to really unfold as the driver, Pepperdine, now faces 2 more second degree felony charges of 1) failing to render aid in an accident involving death, and 2) tampering with or fabricating physical evidence in the death of Jaclyn Proctor in addition to the intoxication manslaughter charge.

The report indicates that driver, Pepperdine, must have removed the young woman's body from the wrecked vehicle and placed her in a bar ditch, then left the scene of the accident. Reported that the young woman was bleeding from the throat at the time so how and why would anyone assume she was, in fact, dead at that time.

In fact, did the driver wreck his vehicle and murder the victim, then dump her in the ditch? The title of the article, 'Texas Rangers: Pepperdine Concealed Young Mother's Corpse' seems to pre-suppose the woman was dead, but where is any proof of that? Had she been taken to any emergency services facility, even a fire station, would she have lived?

Why the assumption she was dead if the offender states the time of death?
