The plane in question, N5343M, a Cessna, was transferred by Paddock to a John W. Rogers, and then to a small company formed by Rogers call Volant LLC. The suspicious thing is that the FAA records for this plane have apparently been scrubbed, as is done for CIA black-ops planes, although info obtained by Flightaware from FAA is still online. Confusing the issue is that there are several companies using the name "Volant" and it is not clear if they are related to one another. One is "Volant Aerospace" which apparently has connections to the Philippines.

There were initial reports that Paddock was "not interested in guns" but then these huge caches of guns are found. Maybe they were in transit?
