Huawei has never been subtle in its marketing announcements, and proof of this is the recently released video on Facebook. Namely, the Chinese company has pushed Apple from the second largest smartphone maker in the world, and a new target is the iPhone's new "neuronal", hardware with artificial intelligence.

Although announcements may be bombastic, one can not dispute the fact that Huawei is advancing in the AI ​​world. The installation of AI chips in mobile phones is a great advantage because they enable faster data processing, longer battery life, and greater user safety. At last month's IFA fair in Berlin, the company unveiled a new chip Kirin 970, which owns its own neuronal unit - NPU.

Like Apple's neural engine, Huawei's NPU is a set of core-based chipsets that perform AI tasks. Nevertheless, it is possible that Huawei's AI integration is even deeper. The previous flegship of that company - Mate 9 - used machine learning to adapt the operating system to the habits of its user by redirecting power and memory to the most frequently executed tasks. The goal of Huawei is to extend AI technology to the entire system.

Perhaps Huawei announces not only AI hardware but also software that will take advantage of learning opportunities.
