Let's just assume that US intelligence is right for the sake of argument. Would it then tell the whole world ahead of time that Syria/Assad was planning to do this? No, if this was legit it would strike first and then tell the world about it because to do as they have done would allow the Syria/Assad to move these chemical weapons to a another hiding place. Syria/Assad have nothing to gain and everything to lose from such an attack.

But, if you are among those pushing for regime change in Syria then you might just try this again as the first attack was somewhat successful in tarnishing Syria/Assad's image and gave the US an excuse to attack this airbase.

This air base is said to be in a good position to strike at the anti-Assad forces (US, Israel, Al Qaeda/Isis) and therefore those same forces would be behind a false flag to give them reason to strike again. This is especially since the first strike was not very successful, with many missiles missing their target.

There is also talk of various parties who want to build an oil pipeline that would go through this area. The whole thing stinks! Let's hope that this is called off before many innocent civilians have to pay with their lives again for more lies and treachery.
