This figure of one million child victims seems to me to be the result of wildly irresponsible extrapolation. The concentrations of people of different ethnicities vary considerably around the country. The fact that there are large numbers of Indians and Pakistanis in the Midlands and Yorkshire (where Rotherham is located) may stem originally from the old days of the textile industries, when many people came over from the Indian subcontinent, looking for work. This is the region where most of the mills were to be found.

It's a very different situation, however, in the small seaside town in the south-east, where I live. There are several Turkish barber shops and a small Turkish supermarket, and the employees of these establishments do not look to be the type of people to engage in gang rapes on their days off. The same applies to the staff of the Indian takeaway restaurants.

In a town about 25 miles from where I am, there is a concentration of Romanians, mostly Christians. There's a part of south-east London, where I lived for a while back in the 1980s, where there is a high proportion of people from the Caribbean.

Just a few examples, to show that the UK is not overrun by sex-mad Muslims, and there are many people from every corner of the world, mostly living here quite happily.
