Making your own "colloidal silver" (actually mostly ionic silver) is a great idea and I recommend people do that to have quantities of silver solution around for general purposes. However, I also recommend having some of the really good stuff - ultra small particle true colloidal silver - on hand in case something really tough comes along. That is what I do.

The fact is that the silver solution one can make at home - and most commercial "colloidal silver" sellers, can not compare to ultra small particle true colloidal silver. Not saying those other silver solutions won't work in most instances, as they generally will - but it may take a lot of silver solution because ultra small particle colloidal silver is literally thousands of times more efficient. I KNOW.

You see, I have researched and written about colloidal silver for years. I have also seen he lab tests comparing various commercial products as well as home made silver solutions. And I worked for two years in the same office building as an advanced true colloidal silver production facility whose process looks like something out of star wars. It is nothing like the electrolysis used by home generators and most commercial companies who call their products colloidal silver though they are mostly ionic silver.

Others may argue differently, but they are wrong. If you want to prove it for yourself, take some homemade silver, some commercial mostly ionic silver like you see in supplement outlets, and some superior ultra small particle true colloidal silver, such as the Advanced Colloidal Silver from Utopia Silver which I use or Mesosilver from Purest Colloids and then take three slices of bread and three cups of milk. Spray each slice of bread with one of the three and then add a teaspoon of each solution into the cups of milk. See which slices of bread grow mold and how long it takes and see which milk "goes bad" the fastest.

So by all means make your own mostly ionic silver at home, but "just in case" also have some of the really good stuff on hand, like the stuff I used to beat MRSA and to help heal a brown recluse bite AND, with some other key suppements, used to save one of our found dogs after it was bitten by a rabid skunk.
