When I lived in Las Vegas, about 2008 or 2009, there was a similar uproar and the illegal aliens led a boycott then. They promised to "shut down America" by not going to work or participating in commerce in any form. It amounted to exactly zero. I passed a group standing on the corner by a nursery waiting for day jobs, and I asked them, "What happened to your boycott?" No answer. I said, "I thought you were all going to stay home today to show the Gringo we can't get along without you?" No reply. I thought maybe nobody in the group of ten or twelve spoke English, so then I told them, "Go home. We don't need you or want you here." They understood that and began to march toward my truck. When I leaned over and pulled my handgun from under the seat, even though I didn't show it, they figured it out and went back to their places on the corner. If a business in America cannot survive one day without illegal aliens, then we are truly in deep doo doo. If I had a business and one or more of my employees told me they were going to boycott me for one day, I'll tell them not to come back the next day either. Let them boycott. It's way past time to show these unwanted invaders who is in charge in America. If they're here illegally, deport them all. And build the wall to keep them out. Beef up the Border Patrol so it is able to stop any who breach the wall. Secure America, now.
