the answer to the question is simple; to attempt to keep us, the sleeping masses, from finding out the great power that exists in a relaxed body, calm emotions and a quiet, focused mind. to keep us distracted if we will take the bait, and most of us do. it took me over 70 years before i started putting more effort into focusing on getting rid of ALL tension and worry, and on trying to stay in a state of quiet, peaceful bliss as much as possible, putting the highest priority on that above all else for at least a significant part of every 24 hour period. if you can stay in that state and build on it, eventually you will become enlightened, a true manifesting child of the divine. you can learn to feel as light as a feather and just be the calm, focused observer with a mind that is used to build your energy rather than wasting it by feeding an endless stream of useless thoughts. until you begin to put forth the effort, you will stay very close to the state of consciousness that you are currently in. success only comes with effort. focus, be calm and DEEPLY relaxed as much as possible. it's easier in older age if you are still reasonably healthy, because a lot of the nonsense you chase when you are younger falls away.

the psychic parasites feed off of our tension, distraction and scattered mental energy, and as long as we stay in that state, it's easy for them to suck our energy. consider that the source of the power of the sun might be from a living being whose radiation of power and light is solely the mental focus and loving bliss of that being. we have that potential, and it keeps going higher if we choose to discover how to make it happen and practice it. when we stay in a focused, relaxed blissful state, our energy moves into a higher frequency that the parasites don't like and they eventually leave us alone.

so don't give away your energy and ignore the b/s happenings that the lower frequency beings who control most of the superficial trivial existence and activity associated with it pepper you with daily. if you do see it, don't take it seriously and forget it as quickly as you can.
